Deengen Data API
The Deengen Data API gives you, as JSON, what recognised fatwa bodies and regulators have officially published about coins and stocks: who ruled, when, what they said, and a link to the source. It is the same record that powers our coin reports and stock reports.
Deengen issues no verdict, score or buy/sell call of its own. The label in each response (Halal-leaning, Ikhtilaf, Haram-leaning, Not yet ruled on) only counts the published positions, as explained in our methodology.
Access
An API key comes with Deengen Pro or with a partner agreement. To ask for a key, or to discuss a partnership, email admin@deengen.com from the address on your account.
Authentication
Send your key in the Authorization header:
Authorization: Bearer dg_...You can also pass it as ?key= in the URL, but URLs end up in logs and browser history, so prefer the header and keep the key on your server. A request without a valid key gets 401. If a key leaks, tell us and we will revoke it.
Endpoints
All endpoints are GET, return JSON and live under https://www.deengen.com/api/v1. Every response includes disclaimer, attribution and asOf (the date the record was last updated).

/rulings | Every ruling on record, with history, plus bodies known to be preparing a ruling. |

Ratios are plain arithmetic from the company's own filings, shown next to the SC Malaysia benchmarks for comparison. They are not a ruling. A null ratio means the figure is not reported separately in the filing data, not that it is zero.

}Rate limits and caching
Each key may make 60 requests per minute. Responses carry X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset; above the limit you get 429 with Retry-After in seconds. Responses may be cached for up to five minutes. The record changes when a recognised body publishes something new, so polling more than a few times a day gains you nothing; check asOf.
Cross-origin requests are allowed, but do not put your key in public front-end code.
Errors
Errors are JSON with an error code and usually a message: 401 unauthorized (missing or invalid key), 404 not_found (unknown coin, stock or endpoint), 400 bad_id, 405 method_not_allowed, 429 rate_limited, 500 server_error.
