Position size & risk calculator
Decide what you can afford to lose before you decide what to buy. Enter your account, the share you'll risk, your entry and your stop, and get a position size for a plain spot purchase: no leverage, no borrowing.

Targets are arithmetic, not forecasts. Price may never reach them.
Spot, owned, unleveraged
This calculator never sizes a position larger than your account. Borrowing to trade usually involves interest (riba), and leverage magnifies losses in a way many scholars liken to gambling (maysir). Buy what you can pay for, and own it.
No shorting, no derivatives
Short selling means selling what you don't own, and most futures, perpetuals and CFDs never deliver the asset. The OIC International Islamic Fiqh Academy (1992) ruled short selling and offsettable futures-style contracts impermissible; some scholars and markets take a different view. Screen the asset itself too: use the markets board.
Trading itself is debated
Scholars differ on frequent trading, on crypto as property, and on what counts as speculation. A stop and a sizing rule don't settle those questions; they reduce harm. Read Is day trading halal? and ask a qualified scholar about your approach.
Education, not advice. This calculator does not recommend buying, selling or holding any asset. Stops can be skipped in fast markets (slippage), so real losses can exceed the planned amount. Capital at risk. Not a fatwa.
