Market insights

Live order-book liquidity, leverage pressure, stablecoin supply, gold and the Bitcoin network, explained in plain language. These charts help you understand why prices move. They are not signals and not advice.

Market heatmap

The 60 largest coins. Tile size follows market value, colour follows the price move. A mark on a tile shows our screen result: ✓ meets screen, ? needs review, ✕ fails screen. No mark means we have not screened it yet.

Liquidity map

Resting buy and sell orders on two large spot exchanges, grouped into 0.25% price bands up to 5% away from the current price. Thick bands are where many orders wait. Price often slows near them, though orders can be pulled at any moment.

Liquidity over time

Brighter = more resting ordersPrice

How to read it. A liquidity map shows intent, not certainty. Large orders can be placed to influence other traders and removed before price arrives. Use it to understand why a move stalls, never as a reason on its own to act.

Leverage pressure

How much borrowed money sits in perpetual futures, and what it costs. When funding is high and open interest is rising, many traders are leaning one way, and forced selling or buying can make moves sharper.

Shariah note. Most contemporary scholars hold that leveraged and perpetual futures trading is impermissible because it involves interest-bearing debt, excessive uncertainty and speculation without ownership. We show this data only so you can understand price moves caused by other people's leverage. It is not an invitation to use it. Read: Is futures trading halal?

Why leverage wipes people out: BTC

At these price moves a leveraged position is closed by the exchange and the deposit is lost. Higher leverage leaves less room for normal daily swings.

Gold and Bitcoin

Gold sets the nisab threshold for zakat. Both lines start at 100 one year ago, so you can compare the path of each rather than its price. Gold price is tracked through PAX Gold, a token backed by one troy ounce of gold.

Stablecoin supply

The total value of dollar-pegged tokens in circulation. A growing supply usually means new money is arriving in crypto, a shrinking one that money is leaving. Note that many stablecoins earn interest on their reserves, which matters for Shariah screening.

Bitcoin network

What it costs to send Bitcoin right now, and the computing power securing the network. Rising hashrate means more miners are committing real resources to the chain.

Fee rates in satoshis per virtual byte. A typical simple payment is about 140 vbytes.

Risk lens: distance from the high

How far each coin we screen trades below its all-time high. A deep fall does not make a coin cheap, and a small one does not make it safe. It shows how much holders have had to sit through.
